Are you thinking about organising a boudoir session for a gift? An anniversary? Are you getting married? Are you wondering about how long the process takes and if you have enough time?
Well today I wanted to share a suggested boudoir session timeline. This is just a general guide if you want to maximise your shoot and preparation times. So here is a guide as to how long the process might take and how far out you need to book your session before your event.
- Book Shoot – generally I am booked around 1-2 weeks in advance for weekdays and 4-5 weeks for Saturdays. In saying that, if you have a specific date in mind, don’t be afraid to ask as rescheduling and cancellations can happen.
- The Shoot
- Download & Edit
- Viewing Session – 1 week after your session
- Production of Products – depending on which products you go for, here are some rough guidelines
- Prints – 1-3 weeks
- Albums – 3-4 weeks
- Framed Prints – 3-4 weeks
- Digitals – 1-2 weeks
Once you products have arrived back in the studio, we will be in contact and let you know they are ready for collection.
So if you have an event coming up and would like to know if you have enough time to book in for a boudoir session, I would leave it no later than 4 weeks out. We can on a case by case basis create a faster turnaround if required. To find out if that is possible, you just need to chat with Nicole at the time of booking your session.
If you are interested in booking a boudoir session or have any more questions then,
We would love to chat more about your reasons behind doing a boudoir session.
