Over the weekend I had the pleasure of being invited to photograph the beautiful wedding of Brendan and Jacquie. It was such a beautiful day! We had a super early start, but I must admit, I absolutely loved photographing in the early morning light! The days have been so beautiful lately.
We started the day off with the boys at Brendan’s parents home. There was a hive of activity and the boys were super organised and ready to go. Brendan was super relaxed and ready to marry the girl of his dreams. We had some gorgeous morning light to work with and the boys loved strutting their stuff down the street. Then it was off to the girls at Jacquie’s parents home. Jacquie had so many beautiful details with a gorgeous lace dress from Luv Bridal and beautiful flowers created by Nina. It was Nina’s first wedding as a florist and she did such a beautiful job, the flowers looked AMAZING! The girls all looked stunning in their gorgeous lacey lavender gowns. They were all so excited for Jacquie! We were able to utilise the gorgeous light on the veranda, where a cheeky kookaburra kept a close eye on the proceedings.
Then it was off to Hatton Vale for the ceremony, reception and some gorgeous photographs. These guys had a morning wedding followed by a lunch celebrating with the church community in the dining hall. It was incredibly windy at Hatton Vale with cold westerly winds. After lunch we headed off around the church grounds to photograph some gorgeous bridal party portraits in the forest and back paddock. I absolutely love photographing in the afternoon in gorgeous grassy paddocks. These two love birds were so easy to photograph. They just had a natural chemistry together. And the bridal party were awesome to photograph as well!
Thank you Brendan and Jacquie for inviting us to be part of your wedding day. It was such a lovely wedding day and we wish you all the best in your married life together. And a big thanks to GD for second shooting with me! I can’t wait to show you what we captured! Enjoy your sneaky peek!
