Ipswich Engagement Photography | Kathryn & Josh

Kathryn & Josh | E-Shoot | Down by the River | 24th March 2012

On Saturday afternoon I had the pleasure of photographing the gorgeous Kathryn & Josh. They are getting married in June so it was lovely to be able to catch up on how the wedding plans are going and to take some gorgeous natural photographs. Kathryn had a really funky retro polka dot dress on (which I just LOVE) and Josh was just so smiley! These guys are so cute together and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in June. I know it is going to be a day filled with love and laughter.

The location that we chose was just amazing. It had changed slightly since I was last out there with the river flow changing quite a lot with releases from Wivenhoe. But we had the most amazing afternoon sunlight. I just love the golden hour from around 4:30-5:30pm. The light is just so magical. We even had a little friend join us for the entirety of the engagement session. As soon as we arrived, this little stray pup came up to greet us and then followed us everywhere we went while we were shooting. He kept trying to work his way into the photographs and I was a little worried that he was going to try and jump in the car with us when we left, but luckily there was another group of kids there to distract him from us leaving.

Here is your gorgeous sneak peak Kathryn & Josh. It was so much fun photographing you both and I can’t wait to show you the rest! Happy Tuesday!!
