Lauren & Phil | Wedding | Ipswich | 5th November 2011
On Saturday we headed out to Ipswich to photograph the beautiful wedding of Lauren and Phil. The day started off a little dreary with some very dark clouds hanging around, but nothing could put a dampener on the day. We met the boys at Aspire Apartments where they were all relaxed and ready to go. These boys were a lot of fun with constant laughing and good times. We then headed over to the girls at Lauren’s parent’s place where they too were very relaxed. Lauren was incredibly excited that we were there as she could finally put on her amazing dress!! Lauren made an absolutely stunning bride and her Maggie Soletto dress was just amazing!
By the time we left the girls, the clouds had parted and the sun was shining. We headed over to St Mary’s Church in Ipswich for the ceremony which was just beautiful, warm and heartfelt. After some family formals, we were then off to the Ipswich Railway Museum and the Japanese Gardens for the formal bridal party photographs where the afternoon sun was just glorious!
We then headed back to the Ipswich Railway Museum for the reception festivities. Ari and I stayed through the full reception and we were so lucky to feel more like guests than photographers. Many family and friends had travelled far and wide and we could see that both Lauren and Phil were loved and respected by everyone in attendance. After a night full of dancing, crazy antics in the crazy booth, it was time for Lauren & Phil to leave and start their honeymoon!
So Lauren & Phil it was such a pleasure to be involved in your special day. Thank you to all your family and friends for making us feel so welcomed and here is a little sneak peak for you! (More crazy booth photos to follow!). Enjoy!
A few from the CRAZY crazy booth!
