Ipswich Wedding Photography | A Real Life Wedding…

Melita & Ashley | Wedding | Ipswich | 16th April 2011

With a busy wedding month in April, I was lucky enough to photograph the beautiful wedding day of Melita and Ashley. The day started out a little overcast and eventually turned into rainy showers. Even though the weather wasn’t the best, we worked with it and a beautiful day was had. We were even lucky enough to have a break in the rain before we headed back to the Ipswich Club for the reception to photograph in the beautiful Japanese Gardens.

So here is a little interview with Melita about her wedding day..

How did you meet and how long have you known eachother?

Melita: Ashley and I met at the Shamrock in Toowoomba after Weetwood it was Ashley’s birthday and he came up to me at the bar and we started talking and it all went from there.

How did he propose?

Melita: Ashley wrote me a poem and read this to me on bended knee as I walked into the room.
