On Saturday I had the pleasure of heading down to Jacobs Well to photograph the beautiful wedding of Darryl and Kaycee. It was such a beautiful day! The sky was blue, the temperature was perfect and even though it was super windy, love was in the air. We started the day off with the boys where Darryl was super relaxed. His son Dalton and good mate Jeff, kept him entertained throughout the photographs. After the photos with the boys, it was off to see the girls where things were a little more hectic. Hair and makeup was just being finished when we arrived. Mia (Kaycee’s daughter) was so excited to be a flower girl and wear her gorgeous princess dress and tiara. Kaycee was a little bit nervous but looked absolutely stunning in her gorgeous gown.
After the photos with the girls, it was off to Harrigan’s Drift Inn at Jacobs Well for the afternoon. Kaycee and Darryl were married by the water in front of the Inn. A beautiful ceremony was conducted by Jo Allen. A few special highlights included all four parents lighting a unity candle for their marriage, Darryl giving Kaycee’s daughter a special signet ring and saying some beautiful words that he will promise to love and care for her as much as her Mummy and a beautiful sand pouring ceremony which included Darrly’s son Dalton as well signifying the joining together of all four members of the family. After they sealed their union with a kiss, it was time for a group photo and some family photographs before we headed off around Harrigan’s Inn for some bridal party portraits.
We had the most beautiful sunlight to work with and within such a small area, there was so many beautiful locations to capture some portraits that celebrate Darryl and Kaycee’s love. Before long, it was time to head back to the Inn for the reception in the beautiful beer garden to begin.
Thank you Darryl and Kaycee for inviting me to photograph your wedding day. It was such a lovely day to be part of and I hope you enjoy the photos. And a big thank you goes to Mel for second shooting with me as well! We always have a ball!
