Christine & Peter | Wedding | Moore | 5th October 2013
On Saturday, Mel and I had the pleasure of heading out to beautiful Moore for the wedding of Peter & Christine. The day could not of been more perfect! With clear blue skies and a light breeze to keep the temperature down, it was the perfect day for a wedding. I must admit, I get so excited when I have the opportunity to photograph weddings out on a farm or property. There are always so many amazing photo opportunities and Saturday did not disappoint.
We started the day with the boys (who were getting ready with the girls in the house that Christine’s grandparents used to live in) photographing their getting ready. They looked so suave in their suspenders and bow ties. Perfect for a country wedding! Then it was up to the other end of the house where the girls were getting ready to take some photographs. The best thing about country weddings is that everyone is so relaxed, friendly and generally everything happens in the one location. It makes it so easy for us to document the day. The girls were super excited and Christine looked amazing in her Hilde Heim one of a kind gown and her cow girl boots!
It was then time to head down to the ceremony location (just outside the home, next to the shed where the reception was being held). Christine arrived in true country style, on the back of a tractor. Christine’s dad looked so incredibly proud walking her down the isle to marry the man of her dreams. After a beautiful ceremony filled with teachings of love, Christine and Paul sealed their union with a kiss and they were husband and wife. After a group shot and some beautiful family photos, it was off in 4wd’s around the property to capture some beautiful bridal portraits. We had the most spectacular scenery to work with, and the golden hour was purely amazing.
Then as the sun set, we headed back to the shed to capture some reception details and left Christine and Peter to party the night away. It truly was a magical day! Thank you so much for inviting us to be part of your special day. Enjoy your sneak peek. It was so hard to choose just a few!
I just love the photo below. Christine’s grandma threw a handful of confetti at them! Their reactions are classic!!
And of course, me with the gorgeous bride & groom. Thanks Mel for the shot!
