If I were a labrador and had a spare friday afternoon, where would I like to go? Off to the doggie park, that’s where! Our labradors love going to the dog park. I almost lost my hand to the leads of the puppies when we jumped out of the car. Pitty there wasn’t someone there taking a photo of me. I am sure I looked a sight with two big labradors pulling me along the grass over to the dog park. We spent almost an hour at the dog park. I have this awesome tennis ball thrower that allows you to throw a ball a really long distance without hurting your arm. Tilley loves chasing the ball. I think I through it about 50 times for her. She just keeps on going. Although she did however chew through two of the balls. Darcy on the other hand, doesn’t really like running around as much as Tilley. She loves to roll around in the grass and just chill out by my feet. Both of the girls are obsessed though with getting as dirty and as wet as possible. So here are another couple of photos of my gorgeous girls having fun at the doggie park.
And just a little quote, for some food for thought…
“I talk to him when I’m lonesome like; and I’m sure he understands.
When he looks at me so attentively, and gently licks my hands;
then he rubs his nose on my tailored clothes, but I never say naught thereat.
For the good Lord knows I can buy more clothes, but never a friend like that.”
