Annerley Portrait Photography | Giving yourself permission to feel beautiful..

Nicole | Business | Annerley | 6th June 2012

Today I thought I would share my studio manifesto. If you have been into my studio you would of seen it above my make up table. The nbp studio manifesto is about giving yourself permission to feel beautiful, comfortable and great in your own skin. I find that when I photograph people, especially women, there is an insecurity there about their bodies, how they feel and I find that at times I need to give them permission  and reassurance to feel comfortable in their own skin. Once I do, I can see the change in the photos – there is a spark in the eye, more joy and just enjoying the moment.

When I was writing the manifesto I wanted to be able to hang it on the wall for everyone to read, but I also wanted to be able to give a copy out to my clients so they could hang it on their fridge and read it every day.

So here is my studio manifesto.. I would love to hear your feedback.

Happy Wednesday!
