Brisbane Boudoir Photographer | The Experience as told by Kayla

Kayla | Boudoir | Brisbane | 30th November 2014

A couple of weeks back, I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing the gorgeous Kayla for her boudoir session! She was wanting to create a beautiful gift for her partner. We had such a fun session! I remember laughing and chatting the whole way through the session and we created some absolutely gorgeous photos!! Here is Kayla’s boudoir experience:

Describe yourself in 3 words:
Pretty, curvy, sexy

Describe 3 things you wanted your boudoir session to represent:
My body as a women , being happy in your own skin and sexiness

How do you feel about your body?
It’s mine to own, to love and nurture

What is your go-to item when you want to feel absolutely gorgeous?
Bronzer for your body

What is your best tip for feeling beautiful?
Look after your body

What does confidence mean to you?
Being comfortable in your skin flaws and all

The Experience…

Why did you book a boudoir session with Nicole Barralet Photography?
I loved the website and her email communication was awesome. I saw the other photos and loved them- they weren’t x rated photos, they were beautiful.

What does the term “boudoir photography” mean to you?
It means to me being able to represent your body In a feminine way that your comfortable with that makes you feel beautiful

How did you find the experience of being photographed by Nicole?
Great, not being a self conscious person I thought I’d be fine. But being infront of the camera really changes all that. To act normal and sexy is hard when you know someone’s going to take a picture and you can’t be looking at it to delete it. Nicole did everything she asked me to do and make me laugh and giggle and relax.

How did your partner react to his gift?
He was super surprised and he loved it of course. He was flawed at all the photos and the fact Id done it all and he had no idea what I’d been planning!

Has the experience of doing a boudoir session helped you feel more confident, more empowered, sexy and comfortable with being a woman?
Yes it has. It has make me see my body in a new light. I think I’m sexy, my partner thinks I’m sexy and we’re both happy!
