Brisbane Family Portrait Photographer | What to Bring to a Session

Today I wanted to share a little blog post with some ideas on what to bring to a family portrait session. Now of course, you don’t have to bring anything at all, this is more if you want to add some personal touches to your photo session.

For example, my first suggestion could be including the family pet/s in your portrait shoot. They are just as much part of the family as the kids are, why not feature them as well!

Want a particular look and feel to the photos.. why not bring something to sit on and cuddle under? Things such as teepees, couches, toy cars, picnic blanket..

Or things than mean something at your child’s age.. For example, Louie LOVES yoghurt!! So instead of a cake smash we did a yoghurt eating session!

Or it could be incorporating things that your kids love to do.. their toys, activities.. really the only limit is your imagination!!

I always love including props or activities as it always gets the kids involved and excited. Some of the best portrait captures come from kids just being kids!
