Over the past two weeks I had the pleasure of heading to Queenstown, NZ for a 10 day mid year break. I had been looking forward to heading back to NZ and exploring this gorgeous town. We had such gorgeous weather – a real mixture, a bit of sunshine, a bit of rain, a bit of snow and some warmer days. Not that great for the ski fields, but great for us and getting around. We almost had to put chains on the car a couple of times, but luckily we avoided it. We did almost 2000kms exploring the region and photographing some amazing sights. So here are just a handful of photos from our adventures! Enjoy!
We saw so many beautiful rainbows throughout our travels that I lost count.
GD’s first time seeing the snow and me, well I just love getting amongst it!!
So many amazing mountains!!!
The amazing Blue Pools!!!!!
That Wanaka Tree and impending snow storm!
There were so many amazing sunrises while in Queenstown!
And that epic sunset photo that went viral!!
The Milky Way looked amazing on the few clear nights that we witnessed! So beautiful to watch and photograph.
