Brisbane Photographer | My American Adventure – Part One

Nicole | America | LA | 19th Feb 2015

I’m back!!! A couple of days ago, I landed back into Brisbane after nearly a month travelling around America. A group of photographers and I had been planning our American Adventure for over 12 months so to think that it has come and gone now still blows my mind. It was an amazing month of travelling. I have just started to go through my many many photos and thought I would post the first of what I am sure is going to be a few blog posts about my trip.

It has taken me a couple of days since getting back into Brisbane to wrap my head around and digest the adventure that was our trip. There were so many highlights. So many amazing experiences and of course so many photographs that were taken!

Today I thought I would post a few photos from LA. We were only in LA for a small amount of time, but certainly packed a lot in (if nothing else than to avoid jet lag!) Deb and I arrived super early in from Brisbane and after checking in at our awesome hotel, we took off on foot down Hollywood Boulevard to check out the sights, ended up being talked into one of those celebrity bus tours to see the Hollywood Sign and some of the stars houses (We were bribed into doing the tour as they promised to drop us off at the bus stop so it would be easy for us to catch a bus down to Santa Monica) and spent the afternoon wandering around (a little delirious) Santa Monica and Venice Beach. If I was to go back to LA, I would definitely stay in and around Santa Monica or Venice Beach. It had such a cool vibe and was very interesting people watching. A couple of things that surprised me about LA was the amount of smog in the air and the amount of traffic! Glad we only had a day and half there, definitely was ready to head up to San Fran to explore!

So here are a couple of photographs from our adventures in LA.
