Wow! I was just typing the date and I realized that we are now past the half way point in the year and heading into Christmas. It won’t be long now until we start seeing Christmas decorations in stores again. It seems like only yesterday that we packed it all up. Well here is part three of our Sydney trip in images. I haven’t really said much about our trip, rather letting the photos explain. We had the best time. Four days to ourselves – no emails, no internet, no facebook.. just plain old time out. We went shopping, we saw the sights and we headed out to Manly to visit one of Andrew’s childhood friends. I have only been to Sydney as an adult twice, so it was nice to catch the ferry out to Manly and explore the little (expensive) township that it is. I quite liked Manly. It had a relaxed vibe about it and seemed very family orientated. Andrew and I still couldn’t believe how expensive the housing is down in Sydney and thought how lucky we are in Brissy to still have (fairly) reasonable house prices.
We had an awesome afternoon with Nat and Dan. We celebrated, we wined, we dined and chatted the whole afternoon and into the night. We even met little Lucas (Nat & Dan’s son) who was full of energy as an almost 2 year old is.
So here is a few more piccies of our time in Sydney.. only have a few left now which will be posted on Sunday.
