We had the traditional vows, but the celebrant was an old neighbour of Nikita’s which was very special.

What was your gown shopping experience like? Was this dress the first one you tried on? Did you try on hundreds, loved it, hated it?
I tried on many dresses. My dream dress was too heavy and uncomfortable . The shop assistant made me try on my dress and I fell in love with it.

My necklace and earrings was a gift from Marc a few years ago.

I had my great grandmother brooch on my bouquet which was my old and borrowed, my dress was new and my garter was my something blue.

Had no problems at all. They all were all lovely and professional.

Do you have any advice for other brides?
Keep it simple. A wedding is meant to be the happiest day of your life so why make it stressful.

What made your wedding day so memorable?
Having our close family and friends there to be part of our celebration.

What was the funniest memory from your wedding day?
Watching our flower girl (our 2.5yr daughter) she was having a blast.

What was the weather and location like on the day?

If there was one thing that you would change from the day, what would it be and why? I should of had a pair of flats waiting at the reception as being in heels all day killed my feed. I was glad to get them off! Also book early for venue, photographer, cake, hair and makeup and celebrant.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Queenstown, New Zealand.

And here is there little highlight slideshow showcasing some of the gorgeous photographs from their day!
