On Sunday I had the privilege of photographing the beautiful wedding of Sean and Zee at Ecostudio Fellini. It was such a lovely day despite the heat! We started the day off with the boys getting ready. It was pretty chaotic with 7 boys, suspenders and bow ties, but we pulled together and got them all ready. Sean was looking very dashing in his vest and bow tie and I love his face when he received the Little Black Book Zee and I created from her bridal boudoir shoot.
After the photos with the boys, it was off to Ecostudio Fellini to photograph the girls getting ready and the rest of the days proceedings. There was a little more going on at the girls, hair and makeup still being finished off and details to be photographed. Zee looked gorgeous in her Luv Bridal gown and her 50’s inspired hair and makeup. The whole day had a little bit of a snow white retro feeling to it. The flowers from Nyree from Eufloria were absolutely stunning! Zee had lots of very special details that made up her wedding outfit – her gorgeous hand made veil from Sean’s Nan, her something old was an old piece of jewellery from her Nan, her gorgeous gown was her something new, something borrowed was a red ruby from Sean’s Mum and her something blue were her gorgeous navy shoes. All of the girls looked absolutely stunning.
After the photos it was time to head down to the arbour for the ceremony. The lovely Annie conducted a beautiful ceremony filled with heartfelt vows and lots of personal touches (that gave the couple lots of giggles). The ceremony was filled with lots of special moments – with Zee’s brother walking her down the aisle, the song she walked into was the same as Sean’s parents wedding song, Oliver was the super cute ring bearer and a photo highlight was the rose petals being thrown at the couple at the end of the ceremony (Check out Zee’s face as they exit). After a group photo and some family photos, the guest mingled out on the lawn while we headed off around the property for some gorgeous bridal party photographs. We had a gorgeous vintage red couch to use as a photo prop and looked absolutely awesome. The little spot we found was so perfect and felt like an enchanted forest.
After the bridal party photographs, we headed back up to the lawn to mingle for a while before dinner commenced up stairs. Ecostudio Fellini is such a gorgeous venue during the day, but at night it really comes alive. So many beautiful fairy lights and just such a gorgeous dining room. The room was simply decorated but looked absolutely stunning. Michael from WE R DJ’s was the awesome MC and DJ for the night creating a great atmosphere throughout the reception. We heard some lovely speeches, had a hilarious cake cut (where Sean and Zee where trying to smoosh cake over each other), lots of fun in the photo booth and a magical first dance out under the stars.
Thank you to both Sean and Zee for inviting me to photograph your special day. It truly was a beautiful day filled with so many beautiful moments and I am sure memories that will last a long time. Enjoy your little sneaky peek and I can’t wait to show you the rest. And a big thanks to Mary again for being an awesome second shooter!
