Over the weekend I had the absolute pleasure of photographing the beautiful wedding day of Matthew and Logan! It was such a beautiful day! The sun was shining, the birds were chirping and the boys were all ready when we arrived! Matthew was feeling a little nervous about the day, but all those nerves faded away at the ceremony when he saw Logan for the first time. The boys were very relaxed during the photo time. They were hanging out, having a few beverages and enjoying the festivities.
Then it was off to the girls, were things were calm but there was a lot going on. Logan looked absolutely stunning in her gorgeous Luv Bridal gown… and check out those Badgley Mischka shoes! Aren’t they just divine! The lovely Nikita Pere from Atik Beauty created Logan’s stunning bridal look while her gorgeous flowers were from Flower Lovers!
How adorable is Hughson, Logan’s nephew.. I think we might have another budding photographer on our hands!
After we finished up with the girls, the lovely team at Tic Tac Tours transported Logan and her girls to the Ipswich Railway Museum for the ceremony. A beautiful religious ceremony conducted by Father Stephen.
Hugh absolutely loved playing around in Aunty Logan’s beautiful veil!
The group photo and congratulations are always so wonderful to photograph. It’s so beautiful to see how excited everyone is for the happy couple!
After the family photos we headed into the museum to capture some gorgeous bridal party and couple photos. The museum and surroundings is such a beautiful location for photos. There is so much variety without even leaving the property.
Old railway carriages… stunning couple = magical photos
And those old red brick walls.. They are just divine! I can’t believe that Ipswich has this beautiful wedding location. I definitely think it’s a hidden gem!
We had the most magical sunset clouds as we finished up the bridal party and couple portraits. One thing I love as a photographer is how the weather on the day can make such magical portraits… and depending on the day determines how the location looks.
After the sun set, it was time to head instead the beautiful Trackside Cafe for the reception. The room is recently renovated and looked absolutely magical filled with greenery, candles and fairy lights. The food was delicious, the crowd was having the most amazing time all while the Nick Trovas Band entertained them with their beautiful acoustic renditions. Seriously guys, if you need entertainment at your wedding, these guys were amazing! The speeches were full of love, laughter and happy tears before the night really started with some epic dance floor moves.
The father daughter dance and mother son dances were epic. Logan and her Dad had such a fun time, taking a spin around the dance floor and Matthew and his Mum had the most beautiful choreographed dance!
A big thank you to Matthew and Logan for asking me to capture their beautiful wedding day. It was a crazy ride with a few bumps along the way and I am so happy that they day finally arrived and was perfect. There were so many amazing moments throughout the day and I can’t wait to show you the full collection of photos! Enjoy the sneaky peek!
And a big thank you to Mary for coming out and second shooting with me! It was so much fun!!
