Chantelle & Darren | Wedding | Ipswich | 18th December 2010
On Saturday, our two friends Chantelle & Darren were married. It was a wonderful day and I was lucky enough to be a guest at the wedding and reception, instead of just the photographer. Andrew, my fiancé also had the exciting duty of being my bag boy for the day! He did a very good job of giving me lenses, holding lights and wiping sweat from my brow. And to top it all off, I didn’t scare him out of marriage by being the “boss” for the day. Enough about me, back to Chantelle and Darren.
So you may of seen the slideshow, here are a few more shots from the day. We started out at the boys place with them getting ready.
Then we headed to the girls place (just around the corner) where the mood was a little more chaotic!
Chantelle, you made such a beautiful bride!
Even though the rain came pouring (torrentially) down throughout the church service, it held off just long enough for us to head to Riverlink Walk Bridge for some undercover photos “just in case”. I think the bridge makes a beautiful backdrop for wedding photos.
I even got a puddle reflection from the rain!! (above right)
Work it girls!
Then we headed to Riverheart for some waterfall fun!
Then off to the Japanese Gardens for about 10mins of photos. It was starting to spit by now, so we had to hurry!
Then off to the Ipswich Club were I became a guest for the rest of the night (minus the slideshow of course!). Chantelle and Darren – thank you for inviting me to photograph your wedding. I had an absolute ball and I was so glad to surprise you with a slideshow at the reception. Enjoy your 5 week (very jealous) amercian honeymoon and I will be in touch when you get back.
Live. Laugh. Love. Create.
