Over the weekend GD and I headed out to beautiful Kingaroy for the engagement session of Tegan and Blake. It was only fitting that we headed to a beautiful cattle property as they both share a love of cows. You see Tegan and Blake met at a cow show… you know the ones where they show off the beautiful animals, kind of like at the Ekka. Then their first date was at a cow show and Blake proposed on the way to a cow show in Canada.
So we headed out to their beautiful friend Jan’s property and Kingaroy put on an incredible sunset. It was so lovely to see how beautiful and green the paddocks were with all the recent rain. Luckily none of the crazy storms had affected this location, but we did see where the tornado had been through.
Enough of this photographer being excited over the location, haha. I was also super excited to meet and capture these two to celebrate their love. They were a bit nervous to start with but by the end, they were super comfortable and posing for me without even asking. Blake is a bit cheeky and loves to make Tegan smile.
I totally love the gorgeous texture of the fence post against Tegan’s beautiful ring!
I just love love love this one. Blake only gave me mere seconds of snuggly cute Blake before returning to cheeky Blake, so lucky I can snap fast!
And that sunset.. I mean.. WOW!!
Thank you both for asking me to capture your engagement session. I am so excited to be heading out to Kingaroy next year to capture your beautiful wedding day. I know it is going to be so much fun.. and no doubt a cow will make an appearance or two. Enjoy your sneaky peek!
