Mt Cootha Summit Wedding | Christopher & Gabrielle

On Saturday I had the absolute pleasure of photographing the beautiful Chris & Gabby on their wedding day. It was such a beautiful day full of love, laughter and good times. We started out the day with the boys at the awesome Spire Residences in Queen Street. The views were spectacular (even though a dust storm had arrived). Chris was a little bit nervous, but the boys kept him chatting and laughing throughout the photos.

Then it was off to the girls at the Bride’s family home for their prep photos. Gabby was just finishing up with Karina & Julie on hair and makeup and so excited to be getting into her gorgeous Made with Love gown. Gabby looked absolutely divine! I just loved her gown and the gorgeous flowers from Miss Popsy.

Then it was off to Latrobe Chapel at Paddington for the beautiful ceremony. Father Mario conducted a beautiful traditional catholic wedding ceremony with a lovely analogy about hide and seek with advice to make sure you don’t hide how you are feeling from your partner. Then with some beautiful readings, the exchanging of vows and rings, Chris and Gabby were pronounced husband and wife.

Then it was off to Mt Cootha Botanical Gardens for some bridal party and couple portraits. We had the most beautiful afternoon sunlight and it was so wonderful to be able to capture some beautiful photos for Gabby and Chris that documents their love.

We then headed up to the top of the mountain for their beautiful reception at The Summit Restaurant. But we had to make use of the gorgeous sunset before heading in for the evening celebrations. The evening was filled with beautiful wine, food, heartfelt speeches, a gorgeous cake to cut and a beautiful first dance.

Thank you Chris and Gabby for asking us to capture your beautiful wedding day. It was such a lovely day to be part of and a privilege to capture so many beautiful memories for you. Enjoy your sneaky peek and I can’t wait to show you the rest!!
