I love taking photographs. They are such precious memories of times that you share throughout your life. They show the good times, the bad times, the times when your mum gave you a mullet (thanks mum for the trendy 80’s mullet haircut I had as a kid) and of course they keep the precious memories of people who surround you long after they have passed from this world. At college I had an assignment that I had to match an image to a quote. I loved this assignment as I love being inspired by quotes. This quote is especially dear to my heart.. I think it really sums up what photography is all about.
I am lucky enough to still have my two grandmothers in my life.I love this quote. “The pictures you want for tomorrow, you have to take today.” – the first thing that came into my mind, was my Nana. I think it is very important to have a photograph of my Nana. She is a gem of a woman and every day that we still have her here is a blessing. I guess one thing that I could part would be, cherish the people around you. Take photos, document their lives. You never know when it may be your last day here on earth. I love both my grandmothers and my families. They are such an important part of my life and an inspiration to me every single day.
Love you guys
