On Sunday I had the absolute pleasure of photographing the beautiful wedding of Lisa-Marie and Jonathan. It was such a beautiful day! The sun was shining, the sea was glistening and love was in the air. We started the day with the boys at Jonathan’s parents beautiful home. The boys were all cool, calm and collected enjoying each others company and excited for the day. Jon was super excited to be finally marrying the love of his life, Lisa-Marie. The groomsmen looked dashing in their pale green shirts and vest and Jon looked every part the groom with a gorgeous button hole hand made by Lisa. And I absolutely loved all their individual socks that we just had to get a photo of!
After the photos with the boys, it was off to Redcliffe to see the girls. When we arrived the bridesmaids were mid-dance practicing their unique dance for the reception later that night. Hair and makeup was just being finished and Lisa was so excited! She couldn’t believe that it was finally her wedding day and she was so excited! She looked absolutely stunning in her gorgeous gown and I absolutely loved the peach mint handmade bouquets. The girls were all so excited for the day!
The beautiful ceremony was held on the foreshore of Endeavour Park at Scarborough. It had the most beautiful views of the bay and the Glasshouse Mountains! Pastor Mike conducted a beautiful ceremony featuring a beautiful rendition of Amazing Grace in which a flock of birds flew over just after we finished. After a beautiful sermon, heartfelt vows, the exchanging of rings they sealed their union with a kiss. Then it was off to sign the register. Lisa-Marie was so cute. She was like I just can’t believe we are now married!
After a group photo, some family photos and a couple of refreshments we were off to Settlement Cove Park and the Jetty at Woody Point for some bridal party portraits! We had the most beautiful sunset and the bridal party was so much fun! They loved their crazy posed challenge and gave us so many great posing options! Then before we knew it, it was time to jump back in the Kombi and head to Tavernetta for the reception. Their cake was so gorgeous – a peach to mint coloured naked cake made by one of the bridesmaids. It was so gorgeous and I am sure it tasted delicious as well!
Thank you so much Lisa-Marie and Jonathan for asking me to photograph your wedding. It was such a beautiful day and Mel and I had a ball. A big thanks to Mel for being my second shooter. Enjoy your sneak peek and I can’t wait to show you the rest!
