Over the weekend I had the pleasure of photographing the lovely Clifford and Nadine at Royal on the Park in Brisbane City. It was the most beautiful day. We started the day out with the boys getting ready. Clifford was super relaxed, a little nervous but cracking jokes about lying in gardens the entire time. How good does his navy Politx suit look with the red bow tie. I love this colour combination. I think the hotel got the colour scheme memo too, as there was this gorgeous red chair in the corner of the room for us to use! I wanted to take it home!
Then it was upstairs to the girls where they were finishing off their hair and makeup with the lovely Brianna and Kelly from Sugar Mobile Makeup and Hair. Nadine looked absolutely stunning with her gorgeous flower crown and Mia Solana gown.
After photos with the girls, we headed across the road to the Botanical Gardens for the beautiful marriage ceremony. The lovely Robyn Mear created a beautiful, personalised ceremony filled with personalised vows and a beautiful reading from Clifford’s mum, Hellen.
After the group and family photos, we headed off around the Botanical Gardens for some gorgeous couple and bridal party portraits. There were so many beautiful locations to photograph along the way.
As we were capturing some photographs down by the water, Clifford saw this gorgeous golden retriever called Maverick who’s owner kindly allowed us to capture some photos with him. Look at the look on Clifford’s face.. totally puppy lover here!!!
Then it was back to the gorgeous Marquee at Royal on the Park for the reception. Brent from Decibles Entertainment was the MC for the night and took the room through the shoe game, speeches, some fun words of advice, cake cutting, more epic speeches, first dance and then of course more dancing!! Everyone had such a wonderful evening and enjoying cutting loose on the dance floor!
Clifford and Nadine, thank you so much for inviting us to capture your beautiful wedding day. It was such a gorgeous day with so many beautiful moments. Enjoy your sneaky peek and we can’t wait to show you the rest when you are back!
And a massive thanks to Jess for second shooting with me too!
