Over the weekend I had the absolute pleasure of photographing the beautiful wedding of Isaac and Jaclyn! It was such a beautiful autumn day. We started the day bright and early with the boys out at Isaac’s grandparents property. It was a little chilly but we had the most beautiful golden light to work with. The boys were ready and organised and made the photos so easy and fun. Before we knew it, we were off to the girls for their prep photographs! They too were all organised and ready to go. Jaclyn looked absolutely stunning in her gorgeous White Lilly Couture gown with her hair and makeup by Tyneale and beautiful flowers by Nina May. The bridesmaids look gorgeous in their black lacy gowns. Jaclyn was so excited to be getting married!
Then it was off to the church for the ceremony and lunch reception. A beautiful ceremony was held and before we knew it, Isaac and Jaclyn were husband and wife. After the traditional church ceremony, we captured some beautiful family photos before heading into the church hall for a lovely lunch reception.
Then after lunch we headed up to Toowoomba for some bridal party portraits. Toowoomba is one of my favourite places to photograph. There is so much variety and I absolutely love the gorgeous autumn colours in all the trees. We started off the portraits in town to capture some of the beautiful street art and rustic brick walls before heading to one of the many beautiful parks for some beautiful garden portraits.
It was such a beautiful, relaxed day to be part of. A massive thank you to Isaac and Jaclyn for the privilege of asking me to photograph their wedding day. It was so special to be photographing Jaclyn, as quite a few years ago when I first started out in wedding photography, Jaclyn came out on a few weddings with me to assist and second shoot. So it was so lovely to be asked to capture her wedding day.
A massive thanks to Mel too for second shooting with me and making the drive so fun. Enjoy your sneak peek and I can’t wait to show you the rest!
