Back at the end of May, GD and I travelled over to Canada for a 16 day adventure. It was such a well needed break for both of us and what can we say, we have both fallen hopelessly in love with Canada and it’s amazing landscape!
GD took so many amazing timelapse photos together with video footage and created this amazing video below. One of things that I love is that stopping for a timelapse was a great way to practice mindfulness and really being present in the moment. Most timelapses take around 10-15mins so when we pulled over and got out at an amazing lookout, we just sat, absorbed and took in the beauty that was in front of us. It was actually one of our favourite parts of the trip, sitting and just being.
And here are a handful of my favourite photos from the adventure! I only took a few thousand, so it was hard to narrow it down to just a few!
Beautiful Stanley Park in Vancouver! We biked and walked throughout this park. So incredible!
At the top of Whistler Mountain!
Roger.. our beast for our road trip!
We saw a black bear!!! Luckily from the safety of the car….
The Colombia Icefields and Glacier with snow…
The stunning Emerald Lake below.
The beautiful Ink Potts after an adventureous hike at Johnston Canyon.
Incredible Stanely Park.
